Welcome to C & L Mercantile. We're Charlie and Lindsey, a husband-and-wife team creating one-of-a-kind handcrafted goods. Raw, authentic, and built to last, our work reflects the life we're building together—simple, intentional, and imperfectly perfect. We create pieces meant to be used, worn, weathered, and loved—telling a story all their own.

Charlie
I like...bonfires, paperwork, & thunderstorms.
I don't like... bad drivers, sauce on pasta, & large crowds.
I enjoy creating... tactile things.
The materials I use most are... leather & yarn.
I learn best by... watching & doing.
When I make a mistake... I swear, fix it, & learn from it.
My spirit animal is... the llama.... Grumpy and ill-tempered, but when you get to know them, they're all sweet inside. They carry heavy loads for their owners—aka the people they love most—and are often used as protection animals for the herd.
Lindsey
I like...the water, soft things, & mowing the lawn.
I don't like... bridges, endings, & loud noises.
I enjoy creating... nature-inspired art, things with pockets.
The materials I use most are... fabric, pen & paper.
I learn best by... play & learning as I go.
When I make a mistake... it's just part of the process.
My spirit animal is... the buffalo. Dark, moody, and tough. They face the storm head-on and are fiercely persistent. Buffalo travel in herds, looking out for one another along the journey. They don't need much, yet remain abundant in spirit, strength, and love.
